“And the LORD visited Sarah as He had said, and he LORD did unto Sarah as He had spoken.

For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken.

And Abraham called the name of his son that was born unto him, whom Sarah bare to him, Isaac.

And Abraham circumcised his son Isaac being eight days old, as God had commanded him.

And Abraham was an hundred years old, when his son Isaac was born unto him.

And Sarah said, God hath made me to laugh, so that all that hear will laugh with me (Genesis 21:1-6)

Welcome to the Month of April, 2023. Our Focus for the Month is “GOD’S VISITATION”

His visitation upon your lives this Month shall handle, tackle and terminate every form of darkness, voidness, delay and emptiness. It shall rather bring unto your lives, comeliness, glamour, order, light, honour and glory, in Jesus Name.

WHAT IS GOD’S VISITATION?

His visitation is the termination of enemies verdict and captivity in one’s life. It is the termination of affliction, oppression, bondages and delays.  Also, God’s visitation is the fulfillment of prophesies and His spoken Words over our lives and destiny.

Anywhere God shows up, He leaves a deposit, a train behind. God speaking in Isaiah 6:1 says “His train filled the temple”. Nakedness and helplessness are the products of His visitation. There are also landmarks, evidences and proofs.

Our God can visit individuals, families, nations, institutions and organizations.

Azuza and Wales revivals in the United States of America and United Kingdom over a century ago, were characterized by God’s visitation and the impacts of those revivals are still speaking till today and till eternity.

Another example of God’s visitation can be seen in the lives of the founder of the Redeemed Christian Church of God and Pastor E. Adeboye when they visited Tulsa in the United States of America for a  Rhema Camp Meeting, in 1979.  Whist they were praying in one of the Five Star Hotels where they lodged, the foundations of the Hotel shooked, as a result of the impact of their prayers. The structural foundation of that hotel is still affected till today because of God’s visitation.

TRIGGERS OF GOD’S VISITATION:

1. HUNGER FOR GOD:  This is a major prerequisite or criteria for God’s visitation (Philippians 3:10);

2. DESPERATION: (1Samuel 1:9-17; Genesis 30:1-2);

3. LOVE FOR GOD: David said I love thy law (Psalm 119:97, 113, 127, 163, 165, 167). He said early will I seek thee. When this love is in your heart, you don’t hoard from God. The reason people hoard from God is because they don’t love God. Solomon gave a thousand burnt offerings as a token of his love for God (1Kings 3:4; 1Chronicles 29:21; 2Chronicles 1:6);

4. VISION/DREAMS:  If you can have a solid vision, you have secured God’s visitation (Genesis 11:1-7);

5. UNITY: Unity is also another major trigger that guarantees God’s visitation (2Chronicles 5:11-14);

6. ORDER: Order attracts the fire of God upon our altars (1Kings 18:33-39). Uzzah died because of lack of Order (1Chronicles 13:11; 15:13). As foolish as Ahithophel was in his counsel, he knew the importance of Order. He put his house in order before he died (2Samuel 17:23);

7. FAITHFULNESS: If God can find a faithful man anywhere, He will show up. He is in search of faithful men. Faithful men are lacking in our generation (Isaiah 6:8; Psalm 12:1);

8. THE FEAR OF GOD:  The fear of God is also a major factor that facilitates and fast tracks God’s visitation (Job 1:1; Acts 10:1-2; Genesis 22:12; 42:18); and finally,

9. PRAYERS: God’s visitation can be secured through prayers (1Chronicles 4:9-10; James 5:17; 1Kings 17:1).

CHANNELS OF GOD’S VISITATION:

1. God Himself (Genesis 12: 1-8; 26:1-6);

2. Angels (Exodus 3:1-3; Genesis 18:1-12; Luke 1:5-19, 26-37);

3. Human Agents (Prophets/Pastors (Hosea 12:13);

4. The Word of God (John 1:1-5; Genesis 26:1-6);

5. Visions and Revelations (Acts 9:3-6, 10-16);

6. Service in the House of God (Luke 1:8-17);

7. Sacrifice (Genesis 8:20-22; 2Kings 3:26-27; Acts 10:1-2)

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN GOD VISIT?

1. He reveals Himself, His almightiness, His character and attributes (Exodus 6:1-3; Isaiah 6:1-7);

2. Your nakedness is exposed. You are purged, purified, sanctified and your iniquity is taken away (Isaiah 6:7);

3. The willingness to yield to the call is confirmed (Isaiah 6:8; Psalm 110:3);

4. It’s a season characterized with the fulfillment of prophesies (Matthew 21:1-11; 8:16-17);

5. He establishes His covenant (Exodus 6:4; Psalm 74:20);

6. He causes you to laugh, dance and sing a new song (Genesis 21:6; Psalm 30:11; Exodus 15:1-21);

7. He gives you gift, visions and instructions (Deuteronomy 32:10; Genesis 26:2);

8. He releases and infuses strength into you and every form of lethargy and indefatigability dies (1Kings 19:1-8);

9. He terminates delay (Ezekiel 12:21-28);

10. Mysteries are revealed and dissolved (Revelation 5:1-5);

11. Prison doors are opened. The foundations of your calamity/affliction are visited and uttered (Acts 16:25-26);

12. He wipes away tears from the faces of people and the covering cast upon the face of the earth is removed (Luke 7:11-17; Revelation 5:5; Isaiah 25:7);

13. Questions and puzzles of our lives are answered (Luke 1:34-35);

14. The book of remembrance are opened (Esther 6:1-11);

15. Favour and honor becomes the order of events in our lives (Genesis 30:22-24; 2Samuel 9:1-13; 1Chronicles 26:10);

16. He Anoints you afresh (Psalm 92:10)

PROPHESIES:

–  In this Fourth Month of the year, I decree and declare that God shall instruct you, give you fresh direction and a new beginning in Jesus Name;

–  I decree and declare that unusual strength shall be infused into you to enable you accomplish all that God hath placed on your inside;

–  I decree and declare that by His visitation upon your life, you are coming into prominence in Jesus Name.

Monthly focus for February, 2023 by Pastor Favour Onoja

MONTHLY FOCUS FOR FEBRUARY, 2023.

By Pastor Favour Onoja

“But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD” (Genesis 6:8).

Welcome to the Month of February, 2023. Our Focus for the Month is “GRACE”

In this Month, as Noah found grace in the sight of the Lord and he was distinguished and preserved, you shall find grace in the eyes of the Lord. I decree and declare that you shall be blessed, preserved and distinguished, in Jesus Name, Amen.

I decree and declare that God shall make all grace abound towards you and your family; and you shall abound in everything – in faith; in utterance; in knowledge; in all diligence; and in your love for God throughout this Month, in Jesus Name, Amen! (2Corinthians 8:7; 9:8).

WHAT IS GRACE?

* God’s favour and His blessing.

* Underserved goodness and favour of God to mankind.

* The triumphant announcement that God in Christ has acted and has come to the aid of all who will trust Him for their eternal salvation.

* Mercy for the undeserving and unmerciful.

* Help for the helpless.

* Redemption for the renegade and repulsive.

* Love for the unloving.

* Kindness for the unkind and un thankful.

SECRETS OF GRACE:

1. LOVE FOR GOD: Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore, God even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellow (Hebrews 1:9; Psalm 45:7). Love for God and hatred for iniquity becomes a major prerequisite for the grace of God. Those who love God don’t beg for the grace of God. He that loveth pureness of heart, for the grace of his lips the King shall be his friend (Proverbs 22:11). Utterance and grace, favour and likability or acceptance are poured forth where love and pureness of heart exists.

2. SERVICE: Service to God and humanity are one major secrets of Grace. Do you want to see more Grace, serve. Service does not kill, but rather enhances. Elisha poured water on the hands of Elijah (2Kings 3:11) and he worked in abundant grace. No wonder, he collected double portion of Elijah’s unction (grace).

3. SACRIFICE: Grace is also released on the platform of sacrifice.

4. HUMILITY: Humility is the pathway to accessing the grace of God. Be humble. Avoid the spirit of pride and arrogance. “Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisted the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.

5. IMPARTATION: Grace can also be released or accessed through impartation from a higher unction to a lower person. It’s like the gradient of a graph that flows from the top down. God instructed Moses to put some of his honour upon Joshua (Numbers 27:18-20).

6. LABOUR: Grace accompanies labourers. This was the secrets of Paul’s exploits. He laboured more abundantly than the rest Apostles (1Corinthians 15:10). He was the least, yet he came and overtook all of them and wrote two third of the New Testaments on the platform of labour.

HINDERANCES TO FUNCTIONING IN GRACE:

1. OFFENCE: Offence can

hinder the flow of virtues (power). If you want to function in Grace, have a conscience that is tender and void of Offences (Acts 24:16). The devil will use the people that you love to offend you. Learn to forgive people in advance because offence will or must definitely come (Matthew 18:7).

DANGERS OF OFFENCE:

* It hinders the flow of virtues (power).

* It moves you out of the Will of God. Moses moved out of the Will of God because of Offences (Numbers 20:11-12).

* Offence gives place to the devil in your life. It gives the devil legality on the earth to afflict you. It gives him legal grounds to operate and reck havoc at will in our lives.

* It causes your heavens to be closed.

* It hinders your productivity and effectiveness.

* It causes delays.

* It hinders your creativity, inspiration and revelation.

* It brings sickness and diseases.

* It causes you to miss out of the plan and purpose of God for your life.

* Offences causes the Holy Spirit to be grieved (Ephesians 4:30-32; Colossians 3:8).

* It hinders your prayers and fellowship with God.

* It can lead you into temptation by taking decisions against your Will.

* It can lead to depression

* It can lead to suicide

* It’s the reason behind hired assassinations.

2. INIQUITY AND SIN: Samson was hindered through sin. He prostituted the anointing of God upon his life through sin (Judges 16:1).

3. GREED AND COVETOUSNESS: Gehazi because of greed and covetousness lost everything and brought leprosy upon his generation. The prophetic grace on Elisha which he should have contacted and transmitted to his generation was also lost on the platform of greed and covetousness (2Kings 5:25-27; Jude 1:11; 2Peters 2:14-16).

4. MERCHANDISING THE ANOINTING: Those who merchandise the anointing of God on their lives cannot function in grace. The Bible said “freely you have received, freely give (Matthew 10:8). Some Pastors requests that a sum of money be paid before you can see them for prayers and some go as far as selling anointed handkerchiefs for a sum of money.

5. WRONG ASSOCIATION: Be careful with the company that you keep. It can affect your Grace (2Chronicles 18:1; 20:37)

6. UNFAITHFULNESS6: Unfaithfulness is a major destroyer of grace (Matthew 25:18-30).

PROFITS/BENEFITS OF GRACE:

1. It qualifies you. Paul said, his election was by grace (Romans 11:5; 2Peters 1:10)

2. It gives you preference above your contemporaries (Daniel 6:1-3; Esther 2:15; Luke 3:21-22).

3. It is the secret of Speed and Impact (1Corinthians 15:10). Paul enjoyed it. He wrote two third of the New Testament.

4. It is the secret of Open Doors. Doors cannot be shut against a man with grace.

5. It is the secret of Excellence. Anywhere you see excellence, grace is at work.

6. It is behind exploits in Life and Ministry. Daniel made exploits in the Babylonian Kingdom for 70 years on the platform of grace.

7. It is the secret of Distinction (Genesis 6:8). If you want to go up in life, be humble enough to apply for grace.

8. It is the secret of the Power of God. Anywhere grace is found, the power of God is in abundance.

9. It is the key to the manifestations of the gifts of the Spirit.

10. It is the secret of the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven (Matthew 16:19).

11. It is the secret of Revelation.

12. Grace is the secret of Wisdom and Expertise (Exodus 35:30-35; 36:1-2).

13. It is the secret of Ease. You accomplish tasks with ease when grace is on ground.

14. It guarantees your Security: You are secured in your area of grace. The reason for jealousy, hatred and competitive spirits in the body of Christ today is because some people are not secured in their areas of grace.

15. It is the secret to Wealth. Grateful people are wealthy people. David Oyedepo, David Yongi Cho, Kenneth Copeland, Kenneth Hagin, Oral Roberts, Billy Graham, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, and Job are all wealthy people.

16. It is the secret of Obedience. Grateful people are obedient people (Genesis 12:1-4).

17. It is the secret of Joy. Joyful people are grateful people (Acts 20:14).

18. It is the secret to answered prayers (Exodus 33:17).

19. It is the secret of Favour (Esther 2:15).

20. It is the secret of Rest.

PROPHESIES:

In this Month, I prophesy that the grace of God shall abound towards you in every realm, in Jesus Name, Amen!

I decree and declare that you shall enjoy sweat-less exploits this Month on the platform of Grace in Jesus Name, Amen!

MONTHLY FOCUS FOR JANUARY, 2023

By Pastor Favour Onoja

“And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward:
For all the land which thou see, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed forever (Genesis 13:14-15)”

Welcome to the Year 2023. Our Declaration for this Year is: “SEASONS OF MANIFESTATIONS (Luke 1:80)”.

I decree and declare that you shall manifest in glory, uncommon favour, uncommon breakthroughs, open doors, honour and dignity, in Jesus Name, Amen!

I decree and declare that the glory of the LORD shall be your defence throughout this year (Isaiah 4:5-6), in Jesus Name, Amen!

I also welcome you to the Month of January, the First Month of the Year, 2023.

Our teaching for this Month is on “LIMITLESS POSSIBILITIES”

WHAT IS LIMITLESS POSSIBILITIES?

This is when you have:

* An unending and inexhaustible supplies;
* An endless, unlimited, infinite and limitless possibilities;
* A seemingly boundless blessing, in amount, number, degree or size;

HOW TO ACCESS LIMITLESS POSSIBILITIES:

1. The Power Of Sight: What are you seeing in your 2023? What you see and how you see it is a clue to where you will arrive. How you see will determine where you will end in 2023. Therefore, I counsel you to see far and see well.

God asked Jeremiah “what do you see?
Moreover the Word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Jeremiah, what seest thou? And I said, I see a rod of almond tree.

Jeremiah’s answer in Jeremiah 1:11b was in the affirmative. Then God responded in Vs.12 that He will hasten what you saw. Note that, It’s your sight that invites and involves God’s participation in your affairs of life, not your tears, murmuring and complaints.

Trinity and Divinity came down in Genesis 11:1-6 because of what the people saw. Don’t underestimate the power of sight. It’s the instrument that will facilitate your navigation throughout this year and your future. With it you can never loose your bearings in life.

The only prayer you need to pray this year is LORD, Open My Eyes to see far and seal my ears with instructions (Psalm 119:18; Job 33:16)

BENEFITS OF SIGHT:

a. Sight kills fear (2Kings 6:17)
b. Sight hasten and facilitates our manifestations (Jeremiah 1:12)
c. Sight invites Trinity and Divinity into our affairs and battles of life (Genesis 11:1-6)
d. Sight brings boldness
e. Sight brings possession
f. Sight infuses strength
g. Sight brings transformation
h. Sight facilitates focus, direction and speed (Matthew 6:22; Luke 11:34)
i. Sight brings restoration and recovery (Luke 15:18)
j. Sight tackles and terminates darkness
l. Sight is both curative and preservative
m. Sight brings revival and strength (Genesis 45:25-27)

2. Have A Strategic Plan/Vision (Luke 14:28-32). Don’t live your life to chance for those who do, do not have chance in life. Identify what you want to achieve this year and write them out. Vision is like a road map. It helps you to navigate through your journey of 2023. Vision facilitates speed and eliminates waste. It attracts people, resources and opportunities; and open doors into your life. It preserves your energy, resources and helps your mind to be focused (Luke 11:34)

3. Commit Your Plans Unto The Lord (Proverbs 16:1): It’s not enough that you have a plan, commit it to God in prayers. The journey for the year 2023 is not in your strength and abilities, trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thy own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-7). Take a periodic fast weekly, monthly and quarterly.

4. Demand For Wisdom And Strategies For Operation (Exodus 35:30-35): Wisdom is a principal thing and in all thy getting, get understanding (Proverbs 4:7). Go for requisite wisdom if you are going to be successful this year and learn from others who have gone ahead of you in your field of endeavors.

SCRIPTURAL EXAMPLES OF THOSE WHO DEPLOYED WISDOM

– Solomon deployed it in 1 King 3:19-28
– Moses also deployed it in Exodus 18:17-26 and weariness was handled.
– Joseph deployed it in Egypt and it earned him a throne and salvage a whole generation.
– Daniel deployed it in the Babylonian kingdom and he was relevant for 70 years.
– The woman in 2 Samuel 20:15-22 saved a whole city on the platform of wisdom.

5. Avoid The Spirit Of Excuses (John 5:5-7): Those who give excuses have no chance, opportunities in life. There is nothing that limits a man in life like excuses. When you give excuses, you excuse yourself out of destiny and relevance. The man at the pool of Bethesda’s affliction lasted for 38 years because of excuses.

6. Avoid The Spirit Of Laziness (Eccl. 9:10; 1Cor 15:10): Hard work does not kill. Work now that you are young so that you can rest in your evening season. There’s dignity in labour. Paul said, ‘I laboured more than them all’. No wonder he saw grace and wrote two third of the New Testament. Grace accompanies Labourers. Do you want to see grace in 2023, then labour. It does not kill. It enhances your values and impact on earth.

7. Embrace The Spirit Of Excellence. (Daniel 6:3): Avoid the spirit of mediocrity and average; and the spirit of “just let my people go”. Don’t aim for less. Aspire to be at the top of what you do through excellence. You don’t go to the top by hype, compromise and corruption. You go up through calculated efforts, combined with excellence. Do your work well and let your work speak for you (Proverbs 22:29).

8. Embrace Covenant Practices:
* Tithing (Malachi 3:8-10)
* Offering (Acts 24:17; Proverbs 3:9)
* Parental Giving (Exodus 20:12)
* Giving to your Pastors (1Samuel 9: 7-9)
* Sacrificial Giving (2Samuel 24:24)
* Giving to the Poor (Deuteronomy 15:7; Proverbs 19:17)

9. Embrace The Spirit Of Joy: Joy is a spirit (Galatians 5:22), therapeutic, a tonic and medicinal. Joyful people are not limited in life. There cannot be dull moments when you hang around them. Happiness is free and having joy is a choice. Joyful people ventilate the atmosphere with the spirit of joy and nothing offends them (Psalm 119:165). Whatever you have trusted God for in the past that have not happened, rejoice. The Bible said “Rejoice evermore” (1Thess 5:16; Hab 3:17-19). Therefore with joy shall you draw water out of the well of salvation (Isaiah 12:3-6). There is a connection between joy and your inheritance, portion, possession or possibilities. There is an allocation for you this year, both physical and spiritual, but you need joy to draw (collect) them. Joy is a drawer. With joy you shall draw strength, blessings, glory, uncommon favour, uncommon breakthroughs, uncommon open doors, honor, dignity, opportunities and ideas this year. Even your health can be enhanced and facilitated if you embrace the spirit of joy. A merry heart doeth good like medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones (Proverbs 17:22).

PROPHESIES:

– I decree and declare that the year, 2023 shall be your “Seasons Of Manifestations” in Jesus Name, Amen.

– You shall manifest in grace, wisdom and abundance in Jesus Name, Amen.

– You shall rest and your rest shall be refreshed (Exodus 31:17), in Jesus Name, Amen.

I decree and declare your preservation throughout the year 2023 (Isaiah 4:5-6) in Jesus Name, Amen.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Pope Francis to lead funeral of Benedict XVI, date revealed

By admin

Pope Francis will preside over the funeral of his predecessor, Benedict XVI, next week, marking the first time in modern history that a sitting pope has done so.

The ceremony, which will take place on Thursday, is expected to be “solemn but simple.” Benedict, who was the first pope to resign since the Middle Ages, had renounced the papal throne but continued to live within the Vatican and wear white.

His sudden decline in health earlier this week prompted speculation about what would happen next.

The death of a Roman Catholic pope usually sets in motion time-honoured traditions, but would someone who had given up the papacy get papal treatment?

Unlike when previous popes have died, there is no need to call a conclave to elect a new pontiff, as Francis — chosen to succeed Benedict in 2013 — remains very much in the post.

Under rules set out in 1996, a pope must be buried between four and six days after his death.

How and when he is buried is usually decided by cardinals who gather from around the world, and who also organise the Vatican’s nine days of mourning, known as novemdiales.

They decide because the death of a pope traditionally creates a power vacuum at the top of the church.

However, no such vacuum exists in this case, as Francis is in charge.

 Last rites

The Vatican said it would be respecting Benedict’s wishes.

The ex-pope’s funeral will take place in St Peter’s Square, the vast square in front of the basilica, on Thursday at 9:30am (0830 GMT).

“As the Pope Emeritus wished, the funeral will be simple,” Bruni told journalists.

Francis had alerted the world to Benedict’s frailness on Wednesday, when he called on the world’s Catholics to pray for him.

He later visited him at the Mater Ecclesiae monastery inside the Vatican gardens which became Benedict’s home when he retired.

Bruni said the ex-pope had that same day received “the anointment of the sick”, or “last rites” as it is often called, a Catholic tradition in which a person’s soul is cleansed of sins in preparation for the afterlife.

That was performed at the end of a mass at his home, in the presence of the Memores Domini, four lay women similar to nuns, who lived with him.

The body of the German pope, whose birth name was Joseph Ratzinger, will lie in state from Monday so that the faithful can pay their respects.

In 2005 the body of John Paul II, the last pope to die, also lay in state before a funeral mass in St Peter’s Square presided over by Ratzinger, then a senior cardinal.

An estimated one million people attended, alongside heads of state from around the world.

Fisherman’s Ring’
It was not immediately clear which heads of state would attend Benedict’s funeral.

In 2020, media reports said Benedict had chosen to be buried in the former tomb of John Paul II, in the crypt of St Peter’s.

The body of the beloved Polish pope was moved to the upper part of the basilica when he was beatified in 2011. He was confirmed a saint in 2014.

Benedict, a conservative intellectual, was not as popular as John Paul II, who was pope between 1978 and 2005, but his funeral is still likely to draw large crowds and dignitaries.

Traditionally, when a pope dies, his “Fisherman’s Ring” — a signet ring specially cast for each new pope which once was used to seal documents — is also destroyed.

When Benedict left office, the face of his ring was etched with a “X” to make it unusable

Monthly Focus for December 2022

By Pastor Favour Onoja

“And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight” (Numbers 13:33).

Welcome to the Month of December, the last Month of the year 2022. We bless God for His faithfulness and help we have seen thus far.

May the Lord crown this year with His goodness and your paths shall drop fatness in Jesus Name, Amen (Psalm 65:11).

Our Focus for this Month is “Breaking Limitations”

I decree and declare that every limitations shall be broken before you and you shall eat the fruits of your labour this year. You shall also enter 2023 full of the blessings of the Lord and satisfied with favour in Jesus Name, Amen (Deuteronomy 33:23).

WHAT IS LIMITATION?

1. A Limitation is an inhibition, a barrier, a force resisting your rising; advancement and hindering you from realizing or fulfilling your God given purpose or reaching your maximum potential.

2. It is a prolonged period of challenge that looks a bit difficult to surmount with the physical eyes

3. It is any prolonged or persistent effort to overcome resistance.

4. It is also a force hindering you from expressing or experiencing the fullness of God’s blessings upon your life.

5. It is accepting the status quo as an answer or alternative.

TYPES OF LIMITATION:

1. Self Imposed Limitation: (Numbers 13:33): This is the limitation imposed by oneself. It is the worst form of limitation because the Bible says in Numbers 14:28 “Say unto them, As truly as I live, saith the LORD, as you have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you”. This kind of limitation limits you and also hinders God from helping you because you are bound by your words. For by thy words thou shall be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned (Matthew 12:37). As a man thinketh in his heart, so he is (Proverbs 23:7). You cannot rise above your thought level. Do you want to see limitless possibilities? Then take off the limits.

2. Sin & Disobedience (Judges 6:1-9): Sin and disobedience are another major causes of limitation.

3. Curses & Spells (Genesis 3:14-19; Deuteronomy 28:15-68; Galatians 3:13-14)

4. Indecision (Deuteronomy 1:6): Indecision can limit you. The children of Israel couldn’t get to their destination because of indecision. God had to rebuke them for their indecision and challenged them to go forward.

5. Fear (Job 3:25): Fear is defined as false evidence appearing real. Job was bound by the spirit of fear. He said “For the things which I greatly fear is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me”. Fear is a spirit, so deal with it; for the Bible said “He has not given us the spirit of fear, but of a sound mind (2Timothy 1:7)”.

HOW TO BREAK OUT OF LIMITATION:

1. Prayer & Fasting (Matthew 17:21) Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting: Engage the ministry of prophetic prayer with periodic fasting. Look up to God for divine intervention and help (Psalm 121:1-8; 34:5)

2. Forceful Declaration: Isaiah 43:26 says “Put me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare thou, that thou mayest be justified. Your mouth is not only for eating. It’s also your instrument of victory through your declarations. Your mouth is an instrument of victory through positive and prophetic declarations. The Bible said “Open your mouth wide and I will fill it” (Psalm 81:10). Job said “How forcible are right words” (Job 6:25).

3. The Ministry of the Prophet is another veritable tool with which you can handle and tackle limitations. The story was told in 2Kings 6:1-7 when the axe head fell into the water and by the prophetic ministry of Elisha, the law of density that said that a heavier object cannot be suspended upon the water, that it must go down, was demystified and the axe head was recovered.

4. Meditation: Joshua 1:8; Psalm 1:1-3. Meditation is thinking upon the promises of God’s words until the reality of it enters into your spirit. When that happens, your light breaks forth and whatever that is holding you back will let you go; because it is light that disarms darkness.

5. Praise & Worship : Engage the ministry of Praise and Worship. Paul and Silas did so in Acts 16:25-26; Jehoshaphat did same in 2Chronicles 20:20-22 and the enemies were defeated cheaply.

6. Arm Yourself with Revelational Light: Paul said I went up by revelation (Galatians 2:2). The way up is through revelation, not by tears and murmuring. Light is the terminator of darkness. With light, every voidness, darkness and formlessness can be handled and done cheaply. Light is the end of toiling and struggles (Luke 5:4-5). Whatever is lost, with requisite light, can be found (Luke 15:8-9). Light also speed up and fast track the process for you.

7.  Introduce A Seed: Every woman goes through the menstrual cycle until a seed is introduced that interrupts the cycle and a miracle takes place. What 700 men that drew sword couldn’t do, a seed did it (2Kings 3:26-27)

PROPHESIES:

I decree and declare upon your lives that every limitations shall give way to your emancipation and glorification in Jesus Name, Amen.

I decree and declare that the portion that God has kept for you until now shall be given to you in this Month in Jesus Name, Amen

I decree and declare the sound of abundance of joy and rejoicing shall not cease from your habitation in Jesus Name, Amen.

EU, ECOWAS launches post graduate programme for West African citizens

By Favour Nnabugwu

The European Union and the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) has launched a post graduate scholarship programme on sustainable energy for West African citizens

The Head of Cooperation, EU Delegation to Nigeria and the ECOWAS, Cecile Tassin-Pelzer during the launching in Abuja, said the scholarship is aimed at building the capacity of young professionals in the West African energy sector and part of efforts to ensure access to clean, sustainable energy.

Tassin-Pelzer said that the EU is planning to allocate €600 million of grants funding in the sustainable energy sector in West Africa alone.

The selected Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) for the scholarship programme are; Obafemi Awolowo University (Nigeria), University of Ibadan (Nigeria), University of Nigeria Nsukka, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (Ghana), Ecole Polytechnique de Thies (Senegal), Universite Cheikh Anta Diop (Senegal), and Institut National Polytechnique Felix Houphouet-Boigny (Ivory Coast), Ecole Nationale Superieure d’Ingenieurs Universite de Lome (Togo), and Universidade de Cabo Verde (Cape Verde)

“In the framework of the new multiannual Indicative Programme 2021-2027 of the EU for Sub-Saharan Africa, we are planning to allocate 600 million euros of grants funding in the sustainable energy sector in West Africa alone,” she said.

“As demonstrated by this programme, the EU is also available to support the human capital development accompanying this transition, by contributing to the capacity strengthening of higher education institutions in West Africa, in the sustainable energy sector, through scholarships,” Tassin-Pelzer added.

The British Council has been appointed as the implementing partner for the scholarship. Speaking on this development, Lucy Pearson, Country Director, British Council Nigeria and West Africa Cluster Lead said, “The British Council will leverage our extensive experience in scholarship management and Higher Education institution partnerships across Sub-Saharan Africa to ensure a successful programme and outcomes.”

“We are particularly excited that the overall objective of the EU for this programme complements the long-standing work of the British Council to enhance human capital development by improving access to high-quality training, skills development and employability for young people in West Africa,” Pearson added.

Alex Lamber, Country Director, British Council Senegal and senior responsible officer for the scholarship programme, said nine higher education institutions were selected, taking into cognisance course curriculum, infrastructure and ability to receive foreign students.

Lamber explained that the opportunity is open to all the citizens who have a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, energy and environment (including renewable energy and energy efficiency), law, economics, finance and planning, adding that special consideration will be given to female applicants.

Dabire Bayaornibe, director of Energy and Mines, ECOWAS Commission, also noted that the supply of sustainable energy, which is available and accessible to all, is critical to the development of the West African region.

“To this end, we must attract the best skills in the energy sector to contribute to the achievement of this objective,” he said.

Applications to universities in Nigeria, Senegal, and Cape Verde are open until November 29, 2022, at 18.00 West African Time.

Breaking limitations by Pastor Favour Onoja

BREAKING LIMITATIONS:

By Favour Onoja

Monthly focus for November 2022 by Pastor Favour Onoja

MONTHLY FOCUS FOR NOVEMBER, 2022.

By Pastor Favour Onoja

“That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the LORD sware unto your Fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth.

For if you shall diligently keep all these commandments which I command you, to do them, to love the LORD your God, to walk in all His ways, and to cleave unto Him;

Then will the LORD drive out all these nations from before you, and ye shall possess greater nations mightier than yourselves.

Every place whereon the soles of your feet shall tread shall be yours: from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the river Euphrates, even unto the uttermost sea shall be your coast.

There shall no man be able to stand before you: for the LORD your God shall lay the fear of you and the dread of you upon all the land that ye shall tread upon, as He hath said unto you” (Deuteronomy 11:21-25).

Welcome to the Month of November, 2022. Our Focus for the Month is “THE DAYS OF HEAVEN UPON THE EARTH”

In this Month, you don’t have to run after the blessing, but the blessing will be running after you. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow you all the days of your life: and you will dwell in the house of the LORD, forever and ever (Psalm 23:6).

–  The days of Heaven upon the earth are days of supernatural provisions and manifestations; and of increase upon the earth.

–  It is the replication of heaven upon the earth (Matthew 6:10). These are days where the WILL OF GOD shall be enforced upon the earth. And it includes the ability to drive out enemies that are mightier than ourselves.

–  They are also days of the manifestations and demonstrations of the kingdom and acts of God upon the earth (Luke 10:9).  The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you. The kingdom of God is right here.

Luke 17:21 said “Neither shall they say, lo here! Or, lo there! For behold, the kingdom of God is within you”. It is right here now.

“Fear not, little flocks; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the Kingdom” (Luke 12:32).

Friends, you can be delivered and healed  right now because the kingdom or the dominion of God is here. You can have your needs met and still expect supernatural increase or supplies.

Jesus manifested the kingdom of God wherever He went, that death had to bow its’ knees; devils had to run; sickness and diseases had to flee. The things of this earth, such as loaves and fishes being multiplied (Matthew 14:17-21); had to respond to His blessing.

–  The days of Heaven upon the earth are days where the works of your hands shall multiply; where the plowman shall overtake the reaper (Amos 9:13); where God shall quicken life and hasten the process of events in your  that shall cause the murmuring to cease (Numbers 17:1-10).

Our citizenship is in the kingdom of God. We are citizens of heaven, ambassadors representing the Lord Jesus Christ on this earth until Jesus returns.

Revelation 5:10 best described it  –  “And hast made us unto our God, Kings and Priests: and we shall reign on the earth”.

Our dominion, rulership, sonship are confirmed and established.

CHARACTERISTICS OF DAYS OF HEAVEN UPON THE EARTH:

1. Supernatural happenings beyond comprehension (Numbers 17:1-10; Acts 13:41).

2. These are days where you are no more hurtable, molestable, harassable and have been licensed to smite the earth with plagues at will, as often as you will (Revelation 11:3-6; Numbers 16:28-35).

3. They are days of supernatural speed (Amos 9:11-15)

4. They are days of Restoration of the lost glory (Haggai 2:1-9).

5. They are days of the confirmation, manifestation and exhibition of your royalty and sonship (1Peter 2:9-10).

6. They are days of the demonstration of His Almightiness and help (2 Chronicles 20:12-26;  26:7, 13-15;  1Samuel 7:12; Ezra 5:2; 10:15;  Esther 9:3)

7. They are days where your wilderness shall become a pool of water and the dry land springs of water (Isaiah 41:18; 2Kings 3:15-20; Joel 3:18).

8. They are days of rejoicing, combined harvest and double blessings (Joel 2:23).

9. It is the day of the termination of your warfare, forgiveness of your iniquities and receiving your double portion (Isaiah 40:1-2; Joshua 17:14-18)

10. It is the day of the termination of famine and announcement of abundance and new seasons (1Kings 18:1, 41-46)

11. It’s a season characterized with the multiplication of Wonders without Numbers (Job 9:10)

12. It is the days of the opening of the flood gates of heaven and an outpoured blessing (Genesis 7:11-12; 1Kings 18:1; Psalm 78:23; Isaiah 45:8; Ezekiel 1:1).

13.They are days characterized with the outpouring of His Spirit, where visions and revelations are numerous (Joel 2:28-29; Revelation 1:9-20).

14. They are days of the manifestations of His great wrath (Revelation 6:12-17).

15. They are days of the fulfillment of Prophesies (Matthew 2:23; 8:17; 27:35; John 19:24).

16. It is the season of the manifestations of His power and willingness in the heart of the people to do God’s bidding (Psalm 110:3).

17. It is a season where your desert can become a fruitful field (Isaiah 32:15).

18. It is a season of uncommon breakthroughs (Genesis 38:27-30)

19. It is a season of uncommon wisdom and expertise (Exodus 35:30-35; 36:1-2).

20. It is a season of publicity and advertisement of the Church (Micah 4:1-2).

21. They are days of His visitation where our nakedness shall be revealed (Isaiah 6:1-7).

22. It is a season of complete turnarounds (Psalm 126:1-6; Ezekiel 21:27).

PROPHESIES:

1.  I decree and declare that in this Month of November, you shall experience heaven on earth, in Jesus Name, Amen.

2.  Surely, His goodness and mercy shall follow you, throughout this Month, in Jesus Name, Amen.

My heart breaks for Nigeria I travel when to different nations, my heart breaks for Nigeria — Pastor Enenche

By admin

The Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Dr. Paul Enenche has expressed concerns of the pace of development in Nigeria, saying that his experience traveling across the world makes him sad about Nigeria situation.

Speaking during November Anointing Service, Enenche said that Nigeria has enough money to turn all the state capitals into a Houston Texas or a Georgia. “The crude oil of one year if it is well accounted for is enough to sort out many things.

Maybe that’s why I don’t travel too frequently because anytime I do, my heart breaks afresh. The whole of Abuja here now can just be space for one airport. We went through Lagos airport to go, disaster.

“By the mercies of God, we have been traveling for a while now, America, UK, Asia, Singapore, Philippines, just around the world. I’ve never gotten used to how I feel about the wickedness of the leaders of our nation.

“Every time I travel anywhere, I feel if afresh. When we went to Singapore, I almost felt like crying. Is it possible for something to work like this and our leaders travel and see these things?

They travel and go on holidays with their families, go for medical treatments and see these things and even invest there, put millions of dollars there and it doesn’t cross their conscience to make their home like this.

“I feel it. When driving in Houston, come and see roads, flyovers, everything working. I said, ‘what is this?’ You travel, go for meetings, conferences, United Nations meetings and you don’t see anything. I see our people plenty there, my heart is broken, it’s like people who ran away from disaster, they’re plenty.

“Many applied for asylum, refugee status. I saw a young man there the other day, his family is still here, he ran away, and moved there. This guy is about to train in the best IVF specialist in the whole of the US and get a status and start working there, away from Nigeria. Massive brain drain.

He said that the same criminals are still presenting themselves, the same demon agents. “My phone had been working there and there were some text messages that waited until I arrived home. On my way coming, inside the aircraft at Frankfurt airport, ‘please pray for my brother, today is his wedding and he has been kidnapped.’

That was what greeted me on arrival, I don’t know the person but just imagibne, he’s in the kidnapper’s den on his wedding day. Wedding fixed, cards sent, everything – what a country. The demons that invited the bandits, terrorists and killers are still making themselves available.

He prayed to God to deliver Nigeria from the plague of disastrous and retrogressive leadership, “Lord, bless us with the right leadership that will usher in our Divinely allocated glory as a Nation. I see hope, I see change, I see help, I see mercy, I see the God of wonders coming through for our nation and changing.”

Nigeria@62: Until Nigerians turn to God else… — Adeboye

By Favour Nnabugwu

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, said the security situation of the country has worsened, saying people should not be deceived

Speaking at the headquarters of the church in Lagos during the First Sunday and Independent Day sermon, Adeboye said that while growing up, it was very difficult for people to go close to where the king resided, but things have changed as kidnappers can now go to the palace and kidnap the king.

“A whole nation can be in a storm. If a governor cannot go to his farm and feel safe, despite the security guards, He has to thank God that he returned safely, despite the body guard. For that matter, a governor. When we talk about security, the governor should be secure. When a governor alters such a statement, then you know the situation we are in. ”

“As young as I am, I remember a time when the king was coming. Unless you are one of the very special people, you have to move out of the way. But things are different now. Kidnappers can go to the palace and kidnap the king. Don’t let anybody deceive you; we are in a war. ”

He said that the atrocities in the land may continue until people turn back to God and pray for God’s reign over the land.

Speaking on the topic of ‘Perfect Peace in the Land,’ Adeboye stated that Almighty God can do what security officers cannot.

“He said in His word that if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and I will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

He tasked Nigerians to pray for the leaders for the land to experience peace. “It is easier to blame our leaders, but there are certain things we need to do as good citizens because for every mistake they make, it is the people that will suffer it.

“We need to keep praying for our leaders. The hearts of kings and rulers are in the hand of God. We need to pray to God to touch their hearts so that we can enjoy. It doesn’t matter how much they are selling bread, there will always be bread in Aso Rock, and irrespective of the epileptic power supply, Aso Rock will always have light.

“Why we are not enjoying is because we refuse to do our duty. If you say the wicked are ruling, why not pray that God should touch their hearts? We need to pray that God should lead our leaders right.”

He prayed for every family passing through difficulties, that God would speak perfect peace into such a family.
